Welcome to our first of series of articles about electronics. To kick things off I’d like to talk about the ubiquitous ESP32. This powerful, RISC based microcontroller is packed with dozens of wonderful devices within an extremely useful configuration matrix which means that you can use any pin for any function, with only a few caveats.

In this and following articles we will cover the basic of the ESP32. How to setup the programming enviroinment, debugging and testing. Then we will move on to the use of the IO pins: Use a pin to turn an LED on and off, and read the state of a push button.

I will add more details sortly so please sign up for our email newsletter to give you a heads up of the articles as they appear.
